A Legacy of Excellence

Resilience, innovation, and a pursuit of technical mastery shape every aspect of The Swim Brain's philosophy. Kameron Kennedy's journey began at age 12 when a passion for competition on the swim team soon led to exceptional achievements, including a college swimming scholarship secured after only two years of training. Overcoming a life-altering accident as a college freshman, Kameron transformed adversity into growth, returning to the poolside as an Assistant Head Coach at just 19 years old. Those early coaching years fueled a lifelong commitment to bettering athletes through detailed correction and athlete-specific strategy.

Not satisfied with conventional training, Kameron pioneered an underwater camera tracking system, advancing stroke analysis and raising standards for technical precision. Years spent coaching in Texas and California brought about more than personal accolades - Kameron's leadership was instrumental in rewriting record boards, producing some of the fastest swimmers in the region, and successfully placing athletes into top collegiate programs. With over 35 years spent developing D1 competitors, Junior National qualifiers, and Olympians, the core mission remains unchanged: to guide each swimmer to their full potential using tailored, injury-preventive methodology that respects both physical and mental growth. Every lesson at The Swim Brain is steeped in experience and guided by a personal understanding that excellence is built by overcoming challenges and constantly refining technique.

Kameron Kennedy

I started on my first competitive swim team when I was 12 years old. Took a few years off and came back to swim on my high school team. Ended up getting a college swim scholarship with just 2 years of training. Had an unfortunate accident where I was run over by a drunk driver that left me in the hospital for 2 months my freshman year of college. Once I left the hospital I ended up being the Asst. Head Coach at my old high school and Asst. Head Coach for our club team at 19. That jump started my competitive coaching career. I developed an underwater camera tracking system and became one of the most renowned technique specialist in the my area. Moved to California in 2000 and helped rewrite the record boards of a few swim clubs before I headed back to Texas and created my own swim club in 2011. My swim club produced some of the fastest swimmers in Texas, not to mention the nation. Moved back out to Los Angeles in 2022 as Head Age Group Coach for a team in Valencia and decided to branch out on my own in 2023.
